Hi all I visited Cornish Liquids at Penryn today and picked up a Tornado. I've built and wicked it, and although it is steaming away like a champ, I am losing about a ml of juice every time I fill it up. Could this be a failure to wick it properly, or is there some little trick I need to be aware of when refilling which might prevent this? After the initial "oh Gawd, I've got juice all over my mod and my hands" moment, it settles down and works perfectly with no leaking at all. Your assistance would be most appreciated!

It's all in the wicking, it shouldn't leak at all. It's a fine line between not enough cotton and too much cotton but that is where your problem lies. Have a look on the tube for a tutorial, there's some very good wicking methods on there.

Thanks Get Off My Cloud and blakey, yes it is the full-sized Moonshot deck. I have done a bit of research since posting, and a strip down and rewick, and it seems to be behaving a bit better. Once the initial surge of liquid (and I'm taking care not to overfill it), it settles down and works like a fog machine. I guessed it was the wicking and this time I have left the cotton a bit longer, wetted it with juice, slipped the 'casing' over the deck and trimmed the wet cotton off where it protrudes a la Vaping with Vic tutorial I watched late last night! I'll keep you posted EDIT: Serves me right, I should have checked Get Off My Cloud's link before posting, that's the exact same method I used this time, with much better results

Nearly sent mine out the window tonight
I know how to wick it thats fine the prob i have is getting the outer ring on right, its possible to either spin or it looks right untill you screw it together and the glass spins
Get it right first and theres no problems piss about to much getting the ring on right messes up the wick
This tank doesn't leak or not this tank floods or it doesn't
