I have a Nokia 3310. I put £20 credit on it in February and there's still £6.46 left. I don't understand the obsession with phones. Beyond making emergency calls, they're silly.
With you on this OliverB ...my 'update' a few years ago...& I top up twice a year...total £40... Did you buy that off Delboy gill2009

I think technology now is an evolution thing. We cant stop it no matter how we feel about it.

I get what you mean. But nowadays phones are what people use now instead of computers. I use my phone for email, all types of news, coming on here, watching documentries on youtube (i hate normal tv , full of reality shite!), the odd game, weather forecast, and strangley i even use it for phoning and texting people! All that being said...i am certainly not a phone addict. I cannot think of anything worse than being one of those people down the pub, at a bbq or party, walking down the road with ya their face stuck in their phone! Well, if I'm in, I use my laptop, desktop or tablet for email, news, streaming, etc, because it beats squinting at a phone, and frankly, they're better. If I'm out, I don't want to do any of those things and would rather concentrate on being out. People using their phones in public, especially if they're with others, are fostering a new type of autism, as well as being extremely irritating. Me too never ever take my phone out with me or on holidays in fact when I get home my phone usually gets left in the car
