Hi guys,
I was reading online about 2 ohm coils being available for the isub G tank.
Any thoughts on using it as a non-sub ohm tank?
A few of the reviews of 2 ohm coil users I've read said:- 1) It's cooler 2) Uses less juice 3) "Better than using a Nautilus"

My daughter uses them like this, 2ohm coils for between 10 to 16 watts as she only vapes around 11 watts. She just turns the airflow gap almost closed.
Actually I vape them with 0.5 ohm coils at 25 watts and airflow closed down but I replicate the tighter draw of a nautilus so I still prefer them but the isub coils ate better value as cam be rewicked and recoiled so I use them more (because in tight! )

ghostrider1971 I've not used my 0.5 ohm coils yet so have only experienced the 2 ohm which are impossible to re-wick as the coil is too thin so just pulls out with the cotton. I still can't master MTL on an I-Sub though no matter how much I try & close down the airflow and can only use it with my 3-4mg mixes and DTL on it instead otherwise I just cough & splutter. No problems with the 2 ohms using them that way and they don't plough through liquid although from what I've heard on here the 0.5 ohm last far longer so as soon as my stash is used up I'll go over to the 0.5 instead.

I can agree with that I have tried as well and the wire came out with the cotton but after that you have a coil "shell" and you can build your own coil But on the other hand the Nautilus mini is a brilliant tank for MTL I have seen and read really good reviews about the SXK Corolla V1.5 as an other MTL tank but it is a Rdta I am looking forward to try it out

ghostrider1971 I use the Isub with 2.0 ohm coils and the airflow almost fully closed with a small bore drip tip, it makes a good mtl tank. Can't really tell much difference between the Isub and the Nautilus imho

For good value the driptipstore has a large range of tips in all shapes and sizes ghostrider1971 - and is in the UK so quick delivery. Although much of what they stock (plus a gazillion more) can also be found on Fastech for less pennies if you don't mind the wait!! I'm a MTL vaper - the correct bore drip tip makes a world of difference I find

gill2009 - that's really kind - thank you! Can I pay you for postage through paypal? I think just a slim bore - like "thinner" rather than the "usual" round wide-bore tips?

Still not convinced any dtl tanks really double up. It's an experiment I'll throw some cash at through. (And a small bore drip tip....obviously!) Any excuse to go shopping.
