Thinking of getting a MTL tank would this kayfun mini v3 be a good choice or would I be better with something else ?

Clone or authentic?
If its the clones, SXK have a good name, but are hard to find V5 clones and authentic have a good name for mtl (SJMY and SXK produce top quality clones) Another MTL that's got good reviews is the Rose V3 (SJMY and SXK have versions out, but no reviews yet)
Kayfun also sell reducer kits for the v5 to tighten the draw

Kayfun Mini v3 is a brilliant little tank for MTL mate. I have a genuine and a couple of clones and to be honest the clones are as good as the genuine. The v5 is also good but I found it a little airy even on the smallest airflow setting. The v3 takes it for me personally. You may struggle getting the SXK version but I can vouch for this one. m.fasttech.com/products/0/10006473/4278000-kayfun-mini-v3-styled-rta-rebuildable-tank

I love the Kayfun Lites V1 and V2.... great MTL for me. But I couldn't get them to handle VG heavy juices well. I do not know if the mini V3 has the same issue - I've never seen or tried one. However, after following threads on two big US forums (donno iffn I'm allowed to name or post to 'em) about a fairly newish RTA called the Merlin by Augvape. Unlike many, it provides for a threaded reducing ring in the air inlet under the coil to "choke it back" from open airy to more MTL friendly. I cannot say how well it goes yet, but based on long threads on those other forums, I've ordered two for myself. Other points about it include a 4 ml juice capacity and it's mainly designed as a single coil tank. Reports are that it handles lowish power levels (15 or so) as well as higher levels. I am after a genesis style atti and a MTL rta minime and came across this Corolla V1.5I am really curious if anyone tried it and what they think about. I do not want to play with any juice control that is why I still hesitate on the kayfun mini v3 or v5

I have quite a few Kayfun Mini V3 and they are my go to atties, brilliant flavour and easy to build and wick. I am going to try the SXK Corrolla v1.5 I have the first one and I like it so am going to try the 1.5 with the 3 different tank sizes.

+ bigger capacity + easier to build + external adjustable airflow
As I mentioned in an earlier post, even with the airflow at its tightest setting it isn't as tight a draw as you can get from the V3.

I will probably be wrong I believe its airflow design and a bigger build deck on the V5
Three versions that have good reviews The debatable SXK on FT. Debatable if it is an SXK or an SXK clone The SXK V5 The SJMY V5
I have had both the SXK and SJMY for just over a week. Got mine from FocalEcig SXK even the box is cloned SJMY felt nicer out the box
The only downside for me after using subtanks, it feels like I'm giving r2d2 a bj every time I vape on one
No tank dumps after a week of using them. The SXK has had a minor dribble though

I don't have much to add to what's already been said except to say that the V3 mini has replaced every other MTL tank I had. Fantastic tank, easy to build and great flavour. I found that about 8 or 9 wraps of 27AWG Kanthal with 2.5mm ID gives the best results for me.
I've got several of the SXK logo'd version and one of the unbranded. There're a couple of quality issues? On one there's a very tight spot on the juice control threads which is quite difficult to get past. Maybe it"ll loosen up over time and on another the drip tip is very tight but apart from that the quality is pretty good.
