Still having problems with the smok tfv8 please help

Hi folks this beast is killing me lol i just can't go over 40w its just so bloody hot ive tried both the coils that came with it pre soaked them and primed them its doin my nut in ive also got a isub v which I use at 60w thats fine and a uwell 2 thats at 40w and that seems to get hot im using them on a rx2/3 just getting very frustrated with them after smoking for 43 years at 20 to 100 a day this feels like im smoking a 100 fags in one go lol thanks for any help regards Grizzly

Hi mate,
Have you watched any videos of folks using the tfv8? The device appears to need a short,sharp, strong, fast inhale technique. (frantic comes to mind)
(Not anything close to calm, relaxed or easy MTL/cigarette style).

Triple your inhale speed and see if it makes a difference.

No problems for me at 85w on the TFV8, in fact it only gets warm for me at 110w and that is with 68vg/32pg 16mg.

It is such an airy vape that I can only toke for about 3 seconds before my lungs are full.

Me neither @ 70w it only feels slightly warm after a while in use. There must be something else wrong imo.

ill bet he is trying to use it as a mtl tank

you need to vape a high vg liquid, or it may be the way you are vaping it as you have to suck it straight back into your lungs, hope this helps.
