Too right. This sort of thing is ridiculous, and don't think can ask a teenager to pop down the shops to buy more scissors to open the scissors because Nanny says no! No, no, no.

In the interest of safety, there is a law in the UK that no one under age 18 can purchase scissors. Whether or not you think it unjustified or crazy, it's still the law. I wonder if there are shadowy figures wearing long coats in alleys going "psst, hey kid, you want to buy a pair of scissors?"

Man! I so hate those damned blister packs. Some of them lately seem to be made of some super magic space age material that defy all my attempts at breaking into them. Scissors? Bah! They seem well able to resist all my best efforts using chisels, axes, angle grinders and being thrown against brick walls in blinding fits of rage.....
