Well ive had a few days to play with squonking and i absolutely love it. Can see myself selling all my hardware and buying more squonkers!

Got the narda running at 1.8ohm and juiced up with Jack the ripple. My god it tastes even better in a dripper!

I have cracked open a bottle of rum this evening...i have also added another narda/steamcrave squonker to my FT basket. Wonder if i can resist temptation to double up on this set up by the end of this evening lol

Where do you get the brass strip from? I thinking along the same lines but with a MOSFET or Big Al and a 26650, but battery terminals seem the hardest part...

When my Movkin Disguiser grows up, it wants to be a squonker. What atty should I treat it to?

Is there anything out there with decent flavour that's easy to build? I can just about manage a velocity style deck with ready made coils

domejunky I bought a bag of 10 510s from FT years ago Ive pretty much put em on every thing Ive built but like you say there not the best quality.
You can pick a half decent squonk 510 from mod makers or stealth vape for around a fiver these days, when funds allow Ill be swapping the DIY 1s for something a little better.
You can pick the brass up from ebay like this for a few quid.
Hobo is the V3 clone, not great but it works.

I had a mosfet squonk box, cheapo battery sled killed it for the voltage drop.
