Temp control help please

Mind whenever you change anything in Escribe, you must upload back to the mod to load the new info

Ok i see i did have dominant turned on didnt know it would change the display thats sorted lol, i changed the material setting to 316 not 316L and tempreture control worked it was cutting in and out but even at 80watts i warely getting any vapor from the attie nor power changed it back to 316L and it was like using wattage mode.

Really want to get my head round this but got the misses giving me dagger eyes cause i havent spoke to her tonight oh boy im in the dog house lol.

Maybe a fresh head tomorrow might help, thanks for your help car147

VapingBad car147 i owe you both an appologiei i sat here thinking about it and i believe the coils i made today was Ni80 and not ss316L hence tc wouldnt work properly what a prxxt i am

That must be why it kept kicking back to watt mode

No probs Grandad. i did the same when i got my first device. Best to try a nice SS 316 spaced coil (better for temp mode than micro coils) usually set at 420F and i'll normally start out at 30w and build up (especially if its a new build and fresh cotton) if i start hitting temp protection too early, i'll up the temp to say 430-440f and make sure its an improvement. i'll then start tweaking the wattage up to my norm around 38-42w.

Really you will wonder what all the fuss is about once you get used to it, i find it great with the Halycon squonker as its ideal for that purpose of preventing dry hits.

I think ive finally cracked it rebuilt some coils on my velocity just for ease really, put the rda on quick fire left it alone, went back to it fired it and temp come up on the screen. Started at 30w 420f ended up at 45w 440f and cutting in and out of temp and a nice allround vape.

I have set escribe to profile 316 but im using 316L wire will that make a diffrence ?

No that's fine Grandad, I just pick the one i find gives the vape or close to it that i want. Nice looking spaced coils m8... glad your enjoying it more now as it is a bit daunting at first.

Don't hesitate to ask if somethings not to clear and you just need advice, far better that folk get the most out of their mods as it what sets them out from the rest.

I don't think that is an EScribe issue icacls.exe is part of red adblocker or Betriebssystem, I don't have WinClon folder either, that seems to be for a backup program from clonix.com. EScribe does connect to evolvapor.com so I spose it could be trying to ad block that call.

316 vs 316L is such a minuscule difference it doesn't matter.
