Happy Halloween! Completely forgot it was Halloween, off out riding tonight as I do in the pitch black 'cos I'm hard like that  only to run into hordes of small people dressed up like ghosts and witches flailing around the place shouting 'look at the headless horseman and the pretty sparkly pony'..............I must admit I do look a tad like an xmas tree when I go out and my ponies have more lights than Halfords all over them so it must look pretty cool coming along the road  What I also didn't prepare for was the sudden fog that came down when I was halfway across the moor, made for a slightly scary exit to the safety of the lanes again I can tell ya |

I must admit Postmodern Smoking, for the first time in a long time I did feel a little uneasy out there, usually doesn't bother me as I know the woods and moors like the back of my hand and so do all my ponies as I've had them since youngsters but I don't usually go out in foggy conditions and it just dropped like a stone as I came along, it's actually better when I get into the woods to turn off my ponies headlights that they wear as their night vision is way better then ours but I hadn't so it made it 10 times worse as Lark was trying to dip her light under it - LOL! Spooky but all good fun on this of all nights  |
