If Rejuiced can do it without raising prices then so can the others. I think there will be a lot of makers trying to cash in with large increases, and just blaming the TPD. So be careful of anything you read in the future such as Flavourart saying they have to pay out £225,000 when in fact it is only £22,500. Caveat Emptor. AFAIK, the MHRA registration fees excludes expensive emission testing, toxicology, etc. required for SKU EC-ID registration with them. So even if the MHRA 'only' gets £22.5K + £9K annual maintenance for 150 SKU's (for sale in the UK, not cross border), the actual initial cost to the manufacturer will be much much higher. Then this begs the question how have Rejuiced managed it as a small company

Probably because these price changes have not yet come into legislation. FA are only talking about what is coming, not what is at present.
Let us wait and see what Rejuiced do in the future.

Sorry if I am sounding political here Perpetua, but the more I learn about what EU rulings are actually costing British Business (and therefore us as the end consumers) the more I am glad the we are leaving.

AFAIK sydsut , Some small companies are using one of the few UK e-liquid manufacturing companies with in house gas mass spectrometry equipment and technical professional staff for manufacturing/testing that are doing long term deals/offset pricing of testing through subcontracted manufacturing. From one such company, here's the process: It will cost much more than £150/SKU .... more likely £1k-2k/SKU after testing & toxicology. I envisage that the range of eliquid will subsequently drop, so too the range of nic strengths available. [ETA] - on a related aside, I recently asked about proper testing/compliance screening of a major/popular nicbase supplier's nicotine, that imports their nicbase. Whilst they were helpful, and wanting to do due diligence:

Excuse me for sometimes being a "Dumb Duck" but what does SKU stand for? Sorry lobeydosser: A stock keeping unit (SKU) is a product and service identification code for a store or product, often portrayed as a machine-readable bar code that helps track the item for inventory. i.e. an individual product; such as 10ml 18mg/ml Flavour X eliquid (another strength in the same flavour would have a separate product SKU)

This is a great excuse to make even larger profits from E Liquid which is already very profitable.
