Tree goes up 1st Dec as do the decorations etc. however all the presents for family and friends have been wrapped and in some cases already dropped off with people who will be seeing the recipients before Xmas e.g. son was here this weekend so he's gone back home with the pressies for friends and family in Swindon, we popped over to MIL yesterday to give her the pressies for the family in Brecon & Poole she will be seeing before Xmas and later this week we'll be dropping off the pressies for my brother and his family with his mil who lives round the corner from us. The only pressies left to be wrapped are ours for each other and the few straggler pressies on their way from China & Amazon for the people who will be here on Xmas day. All my Xmas present shopping is just about finished.

I put Christmas on the ignore list a very long time ago. That said, I'm usually forced by 'powers beyond my control' to put something up, but it will be a small ready-made again.

Our Christmas Tree was inherited from my parents and must be nearly 50 years old by now. It is made of china and has coloured plastic baubles that are lit from the inside with a 40W bulb. It is placed on the windowsill on the 20th of Dec and gets packed away on the 4th of Jan.  Well what did you expect from a Cheap-Skate Jock??????? |

This is our tree last year unfortunately after having a back opp a few weeks ago i cant get in the loft to get it out and it weighs a bloody ton so no tree this year   |
