The ceramic on the bauway cracked when I was messing around trying to fit it in, so kinda yes.. :-[

But I managed to save the original imist ceramic when I took it out of the gunmetal one, so onwards and upwards towards a rebuildable as they say..

It's only the third one I've done this to Dom counting the 306 I put in one before swapping it for a 510..Haven't quite worked out how to do it methodically..I' ve done things differently each time as each 510 atty is built differently so I have done things differently for a 306, regular 510, the Bauway and the Ikenvape..I failed with the Bauway as the ceramic cracked..

Basically you just take the original imist atty out of the imist atty tube and solder the one you've taken out and debridged from a 510 or any other atty of choice. They are very very small parts so it takes concentration and an ability to manipulate small objects..I am ok taking photos once I've finished but to take them along the way when I am working with such small components and doing it for the first time is just an interruption and very hard for me which is why I am always appreciative of those photo guides you post..

My macca IKV Imist transplant arrived today and I have to say it is going brilliantly. I really like my Imists but this is even better - it is as near as damn it like direct dripping to my shattered taste buds
Fantastic job and here it is compared to a standard Imist - spot the IKV!
