I think all that needed to be said has already been written, but personally, as a DIY mixer, I make up maybe 400ml of my favourite recipes, leave them to breathe overnight, and then put away for however long they need. I have 400ml of Custard quietly steeping (sorry, maturing) in my cool, out of direct heat, cupboard where it has been for the last 3 months. Should be lush when I finally get around to opening the bottle. Fruits only need about a week, but anything with custard or a similar dessert flavouring need much longer. As mentioned by BrenD above, the juices you have recently bought will have been bottled at least three weeks ago, probably much longer, so forget the rather dramatic advice given in the shop and get them in your tank now!
