Squonking newbie.

I have been looking at some posts recently about people squonking and i am intrigued .

As i understand it you get regulated and non regulated mods. With the non regulated ones being the cheapest this is the route i would like to try first.

As i usually vape at no more than 15W on a 1.2-1.5ohm coil and i mtl what would be the preferred build for me to use on say an Eleaf Pico Squeeze with an Origen Little 16 on top. I will more than likely be using a Sanyo 3500mah 18650 10A battery in the device as they have been serving me well in my VW devices to date. Would these batteries be ok to use in this setup at the 15w range?

Yup, your current Batteries are fine as long as you stick to the same Ohms on the builds you do. If you go below 1.0 oHm on builds it's time to learn a bit more!

5 or 6 wraps of .3 kanthal around 2.5mm ID will give between 1 to 1.2 ohms.
Will be around 16 watts/3amps on the squeeze.
Nice MTL vape in a origen ickle.
Dont forget to double check your build on a mod/reader before hand.

Its my go to build for most of the tanks I use.

Gets ya good battery life in a mech too.

The squeeze is OK, although you have to build lower than you think (using the Coral)

The Tiny atomizer isn't really working out.

Well i was going to buy the squeeze from Ebay from a UK seller that comes with the Coral for £23 and aN Origen Little 16 clone from Slowtech for £9.

Not wanting to spend too much incase i don't get on with squonking tbh mate. I have wasted plenty of cash on tanks that i just don't use and don't want to make another mistake spending loads on a setup i that will sit in a drawer for the remainder of it's life.

The Coral is good enough for you to know i.m.o. you just can't get it vaping like a full RDA (Velocity/Sapor/Petri etc) on a regulated mod.

Like I said before, the maths just doesn't work out. A theoretical 35 watts on the squeeze is way short of 35 watts using a hefty box mod.

But, if you are looking for 15w, then build for 20w and you'll probably be happy.

Nothing wrong with sticking them up in the classifieds stu1873, it would always be a few pounds of your money back rather than suffer a total loss. Good luck with your squonking quest, I tried it once which was enough for me to say, I'm out.

I only use the Sanyo's for builds above 1ohm mate. Usually 1.2-1.5ohm. 
I have plenty of Samsung 25R's / 30Q's, Sony VTC4's and LG HG2's to use when i go bellow 1ohm.

That's good to know. Cheers for that.

I think i will take a punt on the Squeeze. For £23 it's worth a bash tbh. If i don't like it i can punt it on or give it to a friend to try.

Indeed. I've tried to hit exactly 0.36 for the Squeeze/Coral - fairly dull stuff.
Good for taste though.
