I'm lucky in that my 'local' (which isn't actually that local, but it's where I go regularly) is a steampunk-themed bar, and consequently, steam is quite welcome. The bar staff vape, the clientele vape (and some smoke in the small outside area to the rear), no one blows massive clouds, and no one complains. It's a little vaping haven

Most people I see around who vape use ego style batteries. So I take the view MTL is normal. I don't think anyone really knows what's in the majority, but many I know can't be arsed with coil building or battery changing, they just want to stop smoking. And moutj to lung is more acceptable than cloud chasing in public to those who don't smoke or vape.
Vaping is as unnatural as smoking. Hence me querying the natural progress comment.
