Yes, whenever you feel like a fag, pick up your e-cig instead, press the button & drag on it at the same time.

The funny taste on your tongue might just be you not being used to the taste of the e-liquid in your cartridges.

You smoke it in a fairly similar way to a ciggie. But it's best to hold the vapour in your mouth for a second rather than inhaling it staright into your lungs.

How long do the carts last though

A cartridge is about the equivalent of 5 or 6 cigarettes max.

Dont' throw them away though as they can be refilled many times over with e-liquid.

Jilly, I've just had another thought re the taste you are getting. Atomiser come with a primer in them & they can taste yukky until that's burnt off.

If you haven't done so already, get yourself some of James' e-liquids. I find they have a better flavour & produce more vapour than any others I've tried. Plus he is such a lovely person to deal with

Hello Jilly - sorry I'm too late to assist, blerdy typical But I don't have a Tornado so I probably wouldn't be very helpful.

As well as the primer in atties (atomisers, you'll soon pick up the jargon ), e-liquid itself is based on liquids that have a sweet taste to them - if you get it on your lips, or if you overfill a cart and actually slurp some into your mouth, you'll really taste it. But don't worry, a little practice, combined with laid-backness, and you'll be fine.

I always press the button (on any model with a button) just as I'm raising the e-cig to my lips, and hold it while I'm dragging. The atties are quite robust, the thing that may kill them (or, rather, put them into a coma from which they may recover) is getting too much juice in them: "flooding".
