Chef's Mexican Fried Ice Cream

Mixed up the day I received (Tuesday) at 50/50 PG/VG with 6mg nicotine @ 30% concentrate.

If you appreciate a quick summary...."annoyingly good"

This is one of those concentrates that hit immediate hype on Chef's FB page and I ummed and arred as I get put off my hyped things usually, but....

First tried as a S&V in a Nautilus @ 9w

I think the highlight of this concentrate is how creamy it is immediately...none of this frustrating "steep for a decade" lark which is much, much appreciated.

Definitely an immediate vanilla cream flavour with "something" else - I guess that's the "fried" bit....tastes...errr..."nice" .

Very unusual for me, but I haven't put it down since I've mixed it.....

Due to the high mixing ratio, 8 quid for 100ml DIY I guess is at the more "expensive" DIY end....put it this way, that hasn't stopped me adding a 100ml concentrate bottle to my shopping cart for payday....

I've also tried it in my Cleito @ 38w (on 0.4 ohm).....it's OK...just not getting the same depth of flavour...but that possibly reflects my preference for non-sub ohm vaping

A genuine, creamy S&V.....give it a go

Thanks for the review ghostrider1971 - I've been eyeing this one up myself, but umming and ahrring incase they used FA Joy in it for the fried aspect.

If you know what FA Joy tastes like can you taste it in there? I'm one of those people who can't stand that concentrate, it tastes like stale, flat lager to me even in titchy tiny amounts!!

All I would say is, for me, the fried part is very, very subtle (on a low watts Nautilus) but the creamy vanilla flavour is exceptional

It was the fried part that concerned me before buying, I had a horrible thought about some nasty, greasy taste but thankfully VERY pleased with it

No worries - thanks anyway I might hold off a while longer to see if any reviews come along on Chefs site (I don't do facebook so have not a clue what the consensus was on there!)

I'm currently obsessed with Chef's Ginger Rogers. Had wanted to try it for soooo long but was never in stock when I was buying other stuff from there. I'm fully smitten with it's gorgeousness

I think they are using fa zeppola spacey with a touch of cinnamon (I'd guess flavorah)

Big thanks to Postmodern Smoking for sending me a sample of Mexican Fried Ice Cream. Presently enjoying it very much on it's own, but I think it has potential when mixed with other flavours. Interesting.

Funnily enough, after going through 70ml of 100ml over a few weeks in a Nautilus I'd really had enough of it and found it far too sickly.

I'm really pleased I tried it and certainly enjoyed it at first but now don't think I would rush back for more.....

I don't mix. I buy the 60m Welsh custard they sell. I've just sent them an email to ask if they would start doing this flavour in the 60m bottles. I seem to miss out on a lot of flavours by not mixing myself.
This one sounds like one I would enjoy.

Have to agree ghostrider1971 it's very enjoyable but not adv for me. Creamy,sweet and very pleasant but these are not the only notes I want from a juice. Not sure what could be added striker42 but agree with minime it's creamy heaven.

Taylor You really ought to have a go at mixing, it's so very easy and adapting flavours to your own vaping strengths is a great way to taylor your vape, see what I did there

With the TPD requirements including introducing a maximum 10ml bottle size, I think that you'll find that they can't help on this occasion.

But as TJ points out.... mixing these days with one-shot flavour concentrates is really not very difficult.

I think there is potential for this to be mixed with a few fruits, tobacco's, or as I will probably try first, a little custard peanut butter and hazelnut. Might be good, might be shit but the fun is in the dabbling to find out.

I like it on its own...its not amazing but it gives a good vape. But now you said about mixing it with something else...great idea striker. Got me brain buzzig now
