Hey, A little help please! I've found a shortbread recipe that I love! (Ella's Shortbread Biscuit on ELR.. It's so good!) I'd like to try add fruit to it.. So could I make like 100ml then split it up into testers and add the fruit? (after a months steep of the plain shortbread) I mix in grams. So, say I want to make a 5mil tester. I'd add up the grams of the plan shortbread put that into my bottle then add the % of the fruit to give me the final juice? I'd normally just do the testers one by one but seems a lot of hassle when I can just make a large bottle and split it.. Hope i'm making sense.. Or if anyone has a better way? Thanks for reading

Yes catx , you can in principle make up a base shortbread mix and then add various tester fruits to it. If you make it up and then add additional fruit flavouring you'll however dilute the nic down and increase the total PG in the mix (depends if this is an issue for you, or not). If you know roughly how much fruit % you may be adding, then this can be accounted for in your initial shortbread base mix. If you require assistance with this, let me know what strength you vape at, the average % fruit 'addition' that you intend to make and whether your nicbase is VG or PG.

I've made about 10 different recipes on ELR of the shortbread base then added the fruit to that. My plan was to add up all the grams for the nic/pg/vg plus all the flavours (for the shortbread) to give me a figure which i'd add to my tester from my premade 100ml of the shortbread. Then simply add the fruit for each recipe at the % the cal says. Have I over complicated it? If it's a little off its okay. I only vape at 1mg nic now and having a little less or more is okay and PG doesn't bother me. Worse comes the worse and I mess it all up I should have some left over shortbread to vape alone.

I thought that you had posted and run catx If for example you vape at 1mg/ml.... and want to on average add 3% "fruit", then make up the following "shortbread base" leaving out the fruit from the mix. This can then be used to make up your smaller fruit shortbread samples by adding the fruit concentrate later. (In a 10ml sampler add 0.31g of fruit flavour for 3%) [ETA] - No, you haven't over complicated it.... what you propose makes sense!

It's one of the VHM One-Shot range on Chefs catxSo the easiest way is to get it as a concentrate........ which as it only gets used at 9% leaves plenty of room to add fruits to. If you do it that way you can make testers to your hearts content. At £3.60 for 30ml of concentrate (330ml of finished liquid at 9%)...... or £10 for 100ml of concentrate (over 1.1 litres finished liquid)....... it probably works out cheaper than buying the concentrates individually. www.chefsflavours.co.uk/vaping-home-mixers/4160-ellas-shortbread-biscuit.html

Thanks. I'm okay for now as I got all the cons but once I run out I'll check it out.
