HI EVERYONE, Has anyone got a vaporshark switch box? Just got mine today Not sure if it's the mod or if it's the DNA75 it's self but for some strange reason it won't read my KAYFUN 5 just get "check atomiser" Everything else works perfectly no issues at all just my KAYFUN 5 I have tried everything Taken apart cleaned and put back together, tightened 510 pin, several different builds.......Still "check atomiser" I must add my KAYFUN 5 works on all my other mods so I'm confused. This is my first evolve mod since since the DNA40 am I missing something with the DNA75?? Any suggestions would be REALLY appreciated Thanks

It is not connecting to the atty, could be the 510 is too deep for your atty or a broken internal connection, if other toppers work I would say it's the 510 is too deep for your atty.

Is the 510 making contact, as you will get a Check Atty message if not. Do other Attys work ok? If so the problems something to do with the K5
Is the connector in the mod spring loaded or stuck down, other than the above only other thing I can think of is there's a wiring fault . I have Dna75's 200's and use Kayfun 5's etc with no issue.

That's one of the first things I thought too VapingBad (and the only logical problem) but I can 100% feel the 510 make connection I also roughly measured and from what I can see not an issue with being too deep to make contact. Yeah everything else I own works flawlessly? I must say vaporshark have improved the 510 on their mods since I last owned a vaporshark the 510 has a nice amount of adjustability. Can't figure this one out. Might be a silly question but could it be software related?

The 510 is spring loaded and has a nice amount of travel too. Strange lol

I can't see it being sw related if other atties work.

You say you tightened up the 510 pin in the K5, but now try gradually loosening it to see if that makes a difference. Sorry, but apart from that I've no other suggestions

Sorry, but apart from that I've no other suggestions Yeah done that as well mate backed it off as much as it will go without coming out still no luck. It must be the 510 can't see what else it could be I think there is just not enough of the pin exposed on the K5 bit of a shame but not the end of the world still really happy with the mod as every thing else works flawlessly. The biggest confusion for me is things work on the switch box I would say have even less of and exposed 510?

Finally solved the issue! It was down to the 510 pin. I spoke to Alexander over at svoemesto and he replied with a cool exploded picture of the K5 labeled with info on how to sort the issue out. Turns out the insulator in the 510 was designed to be removed and replaced the other way round to expose more of the pin.
So for anyone needing more of the 510 pin exposed on the K5 hear is a quick fix.
