I bought the cool fire just 3 months ago and about two weeks ago it stopped showing any info in the window and now I don't know what wattage I'm getting or the amount of charge left in the battery, surely this shouldn't have happened after just 3 months, I've always bought Innokin products as they are normally very reliable, any one got any ideas because when it comes to electrical problems I'm Mr thick, thanks folks, JamesRD

Has yours got the on and off switch on the bottom?
Might give it a little reset. Other than that i can't really help i am afraid.

Had a similar "issue" that my screen went blank when the fire button was pressed on an evic VTC, but still was working okay, so put up with it..... turned out that I had inadvertently put it into stealth mode! Might be worth checking if this might be the same for a Coolfire ?
[ETA] Had a quick look around the web and haven't been able to find a "stealth mode" on the Coolfire, so it probably isn't the issue. (On the VTC it is the fire button and left hand button pushed together, to get into/out of stealth)

Just a thought. If you hold the + and - buttons at the same time for 3 seconds it flips the screen, might help. Another thing to try is we had issues with the battery on our coolfire 4 plus as we fast charged it. Stuck a super slow half amp charger on it and the thing has come back to life. Again probably wont work but worth a try.

thanks for all your help and advice, it doesn't have a on/off switch, tried the + - together , didn't work. I'll contact Innokin and see what they have to say but I don't hold much hope, very annoying and frustrating and can't afford to lose £40, thanks lads, JamesRD

Sorry never had one of these, the only long-shot generic advice I could offer is to restart, now that could be de-soldering the battery then reconnection or letting it run flat, but there is a risk the broad will not charge if it get too low.
