lesley1 As the Pico only takes 1 battery, you will be able to charge it using the USB once the battery is installed (positive end down). Lol have you met me before?? Positive end down indeed đ

lol Plenty of us on here have them as they are such lovely little things that work well but yes if you need any help just shout. You'll be sick of the sound of me soon lol No we won't, We all had to learn at some point in our vaping adventures so we all had to ask for help so if we can help others we will. That is the great thing about this forum the members are so welcoming and willing to help each other out if they can.

It is future proofing, but IMO the value as a backup is greater, if your iStick failed and you couldn't get a replacement that day/night you may get tempted to smoke 1st rule of vaping: whatever works for YOU is the right solution 2nd rule of vaping: always have a backup 3rd rule of vaping: have a backup for the backup 4th rule of vaping: no such thing as a silly question

... You'll be sick of the sound of me soon lol No, lesley1 we won't. We all started vaping knowing nothing about it and having to learn all the little tricks and traps. We all remember the confusion we had when first starting out. Don't be scared to ask your questions. As you have seen there are plenty of helpful folk around who are happy to help. I'd strongly endorse what VapingBad said: It is future proofing, but IMO the value as a backup is greater, if your iStick failed and you couldn't get a replacement that day/night you may get tempted to smoke 1st rule of vaping: whatever works for YOU is the right solution 2nd rule of vaping: always have a backup 3rd rule of vaping: have a backup for the backup 4th rule of vaping: no such thing as a silly question Wise words. The last thing you want or need is to have a single failure cause you to go back to smoking. A backup mod and atty (or two or three *grin*) is a good thing. Likewise, also consider how you charge your batteries: if your one charger were to fail, do you have some alternate? That's the thing with USB charging - which both the iStick and Pico use - USB charging wallplugs and leads are fairly readily available and many homes now have more than one USB charging setup that can be used. (Think of Laptops, tablets and phones....) Good luck with your adventures.

If you can get along to the Edinburgh meet lesley1, we'll get you sorted and you can ask as many questions as you like over a few drinks of your choice. We've had to cancel the one in February but we should be back to normal the first Saturday in March (4th). We'll post to confirm and tag you so you'll know when and where. If you decide to join us, I can pick you up at the train/bus station then head for the pub.

You won't necessarily neeed a charger, you can recharge the battery via the usb port (but it is quite slow). If you didn't get a new tank, use the same watts with your exiting one as you did before. Though it has many more features you probably won't use, it is 'armagedon proof'. Your old iStick will be ready for the bin once the battery has had it after a few years, with the pico, the body should last indefinitely, so long as you ahve a supply of new 18650 batteries. I wonder how "future proofing" will go down at the bank lol! This is a bad place making me buy things!!!! I have no self control đ There are lots of us here (including me) who have no self control (in fact, especially me) when it comes to buying vape related stuff - its called Shinyitus (me worshipping at the alter of Shinyitus) The Pico is a great mod, I have two and a Pico squeeze! Enjoy!
