Car DAB Radio

Hi

I am planning on having a DAB radio fitted in my car, has anyone had this done and if so do you think it is worthwhile?

i love D.A.B in the car ok its fitted as standard but yes i like it only drawback can be the signal dropping in and out in certain areas.
i like it because of the choice, The amount of different types of radio stations is never ending.

Thanks for the info, yes the guy did say the reception is a bit dodgy on the south coast, luckily I don't live there.

Do you mind me asking what make of radio is fitted to your car @broadblaster?
I am looking at having this one fitted.

mine is a sony one standard ford fitment mate works well and TBH the built in bluetooth
phone setup is bloody useful the "speak" to tell it what to do or who to call is useless but
hey it does for me.

I have the Sony radio in my Focus Ghia and it is a very good radio but the car is too early for DAB

TBH as long as it does the job thats all that matters i used to spend silly amount on aftermarket headunits and speakers
but i find most cars after 2010 (ish) have quite good set ups fitted.

I got Halfords own Sonichi separate, plug in DAB unit and combined with the Sonichi Magnetic roof mount ariel it's been great so far, £65ish all in! Even works in some parts of Wales! It has an Aux input as well.
