Smok

I have three aliens roaming the premises here and they still look fresh out of the box. They've been in constant use for a bit over 4 months now. I put a spongy mat on my desk where they all live during the day. Not so much because of the mods but my desk has a glass top. Murphy's law says the cheapest thing would survive if I dropped a mod on it.

Not put off by the appearance and silly large screen I know blakey says the work well, but a big time avoid for me with that mobile phone envy battery wasting screen and the general random kludge design that I doubt even any of the design committee liked much.  Harsh, maybe, but they are not cheap.

I even got a silly large red screen and a silly large blue one. I'm only saying this because I think you are not really serious about 'power wasting' big screen, especially since you can turn it off, all stealthy and that.

Not so much put off by the large screen VapingBad, more put off by the fact I've slightly completely blown my vape budget recently with the purchase of a DNA60 and a C1D2 DNA75. I feel a little better knowing I got the C1D2 cheaper than the price of an Alien kit in some places.

I love the screens on these smok mods, they don't take hardly any more battery power than a dna screen and the side fire bars on all the recent designs are a joy to use. I'll agree that the dna boards are as good as it gets at the moment as far as performance but the smok board is plenty good enough. And i have 3 dead dna200 mods that cost 3 times as much as smok mods and i only have 1 dead smok skyhook. Paint jobs on the smoks are hit and miss though, you either get a good one or it'll have stage 1 leprosy in about 2 weeks

Got to admit the thing that sold me on the g priv was the screen. Eyesight is getting a bit shot so it's a huge bonus plus after I have it set right I tend to chuck it into stealth. Still not a mark on it and it's performing perfectly. Took a bit of getting used to the fire bar but I'd probably miss it now. Waiting for the rainbow one to come out and I'll grab another. Never had much luck previously but now I'm suitably impressed. Think it was you blakey who persuaded me to give em another go and I'm glad I did.

I was serious about the screen, I already carry around 2 higher res screens if I want to read a book or watch TV, I don't need another. But if it make you happy good for you, I would have a more then evens chance of breaking the screen and I don't think they are replaceable. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old git, it would just make me cross if I felt I was buying more to get another colour way, IDK but thy look like it would have been straightforward to allow the frames to be swappable.
