It's certainly in my top beginners kits. In no particular order Joyetech eGo AIO (I have half a dozen BNIB to give away). Innokin T18 Kanger Evod Pro Eleaf iCare etc.

I use to smoke 20/day and started on 24mg/ml (supplementing with nicotine lozenges for the first cig replacement in the morning!). Nicotine in itself does not appear to be the big villain than it was once portrayed (it also is not known to be carcinogenic) - outside of burnt tobacco, it's more akin to caffeine in coffee ..... don't skimp on it at this stage! Better to vape a stronger e-liquid than risk not succeeding to stay off the cigs.

The T18 vapes at 14 watts which is three times as powerful as the early e-cigs of 5 years ago. I think you could tolerate 12mg if you find you are vaping a lot. I started on 24mg (5 watts), moved straight down to 18mg (7-8 watts) then 12mg at 12 watts (mini Nautlius).... These days, most of my liquid is down around 4mg. Mostly 14-16 watts. Sometimes up to 50 watts at home to signal to the Welsh. (Oh, I was a 15 a day smoker but on the stronger side....Probably the same as 40 'lights' ... )

I didn't know some YouTube reviews are fake although I did check a few of them still trying to change the way I think about smoking but I will get there! You'll get there. Being on here ought to save you any mistakes, not that you seem to have made any.. Vaping vendors/products tend to fall into 2 distinct categories. Shops openly selling the Chinese hardware (Aspire, Innokin, Joyetech, Eleaf) and a range of various well-known e-liquids. 'Brand' shops hiding behind re-named products (which are over-priced, sometimes appallingly) and seemingly only sell their own range of hardware and liquids. Some of the these are out and out rip-off merchants. I could name them but I'm tired of the backlash.

steve9999 - hi and a warm welcome from me too! You have made the important first step, and now need to consolidate that start by getting some decent liquid. Do you have a Bricks and Mortar (B & M) shop near you? If you do, proceed with caution, but get some 12mg juice to see if that helps your cravings. Also, as mentioned above, don't worry about how much you use your set-up; nicotine isn't absorbed by the system so readily from e-cigs as it is from tobacco, so if you use your vapouriser more than you would have smoked, you are probably still not getting as much nicotine as when you smoked. Our mantra is "the only stupid question is the one you haven't asked", so ask away and we'll do our best to help you out!
