Samsung Galaxy S8 release

Well they have announced/unveiled the new S8. Looks pretty tasty to me. I have become a bit of a samsung fan boy since dumping apple several years ago.

What do we think of this S8?

I think it will be my next phone. I love the screens of these edge phones!

I received a s6edge plus today with vr headset and it's a brill phone,s8 looks stunning but out of my price range I'm afraid

Save your money on the s7 and get the s6 edge,the geek bench tests are near enough similar,definately not worth 200 quid more imho

Ive got the normal s6. Im due an upgrade in a few months time.

Got an s3 mini and money in my pocket, it has Tom Tom and 25k OS maps on it, does sms, makes phone calls, receives phone calls, makes a good alarm clock and will browse the web, but sod that without a keyboard. I have bought a few top of the range phones, but no more now even old phones are reasonable powerful.

It will be nice but I love my note 4 still and only pay £17.50pm for

Unlimited texts

Also I don't like curved screens as you can't get a decent glass screen protector to work on the very well.
I'll wait to see the note 8 or this is looking very sexy



I do like a good fone but as VapingBad says most modern fones are powerful now and it's worth waiting for prices to drop on the new ones. Also after the note 7 fiasco and losing around £100 on accessories I'm quite apprehensive. My advice would be to wait at least 6 months before diving into any new handset

I'm still happy with my S7. Upgrade doesn't come around for another year so I'll have to wait on the S9.....

I'm going to pick up a TAB S3 though.....
