I take your point entirely lobeydosser, but like many others I am sure, I am still slightly self-conscious about vaping in public (even in my van!). I prefer to hold my mod in my hand and drop it into my door sleeve/pocket in case of emergency - the pocket is large enough that I can almost throw it and it lands upright and stable, due mainly to the amount of Costa Coffee napkins kept there for such an emergency! If I were working outdoors all day, I might consider some form of lanyard using a Constrictor knot (strictly a lashing!) to hold a mod to my chest.

I was once approached at a car boot sale, by a silly old f*rt that asked me if I wore the e-cig as a "badge of Honour". I'm sure somebody loved him, but my reply involved him leaving the scene in short, sharp, jerky movements!!! But chykensa being self conscious about being a vaper and wearing it where everyone can see it, is simply something that has never crossed my mind. Then again, I live in an area where everybody who works locally, wears an ID photographic Pass on a Lanyard, all day at work and more often than not, are still wearing them when they get home in the evening. On reflection, perhaps the Old F*rt was right and in the beginning, I did wear the e-cig lanyard as a Badge of Honour. Afterall, I was the first person in this area to change from Smoking to Vaping and yes, I was proud of doing so. These days it is just something I do and never give it a second thought. Well not until you mentioned the self conscious bit!!!!!
