Evening each, Quick techie question......as an escape from the sales mayhem The coils I am using on my OBS Nano sound like they are still "firing" momentarily after I stop pressing the fire button on my mods Coil I am using is a pre-made Aspire around 0.8ohm (kanthal wire) My question is, as a new RTA user, is this normal? I guess I am just used to fairly instant start/stop from stock coils... TIA

They get very hot whilst firing, and as the wick continues to supply juice to the coil after you stop firing, they continue to vapourise a small amount of juice. Look carefully and you'll see wisps of vapour from the chimney too - same process.

ghostrider1971As it takes time for the coil to cool down, it also takes time for it to heat up. The way round this is to press the fire button 1/2 sec before you start sucking and releasing it 1/2 sec before you stop sucking! Jim
