Obs nano help

Ok guys iv got the obs nano and having flavour problems, iv got the fused Clapton in it that it came with but the flavour is like just breathing in plane old stem iv had the coil low high the wick loose tight but nothing is making any difference, could really do with some tips on how to get some descent flavour from this tank.   O iv also tried plugging the small air hole in the chamber to.

Great tank for building great tank for not leaking but the flavour is shit on them, have the nano and the original obs engine, loved the tank but like I said found that the flavour was very muted.

Same here mate the tank is fantastic in every way except the flavour, iv gust put a 2.5 Clapton in it and dragged the coil as far away from the posts as I dare as to get the coil closer to the air inlet it's better but still crap on flavour, plugging the small air inlet in the chamber with cotton also helps a bit but I'm still not impressed with it at all.

Have not used mine in ages for the same reason found the nano a little better for flavour than the original but very muted, the tank itself is amazing in build quality. 
Can only think all the hype was due more too the not leaking part as even a newbie could build on them and not have a problem, I switched back to my mini griffin 25 great flavour but leaks.

I was really hoping this obs nano would be the one but once again I must not listen to the sodding hype grrrrrr.

Would you believe it. I looked high and low on Thursday on here and on UKV for some comments on The OBS Nano before ordering and not a sausage nothing; zilch. Like the rest of you this looked to me like it might tick all the boxes. So ordered anyway on the strength of the reviews.

Now look all this bad news comes out; curse you minime & you smokingaces (shakes fist at sky) it is all too late for me and I blame you entirely.

Only consolation is my taste buds are pretty much broken by 40 years of Old Holborn and other assorted bad habits anyway. Good to hear everything else on the Nano is fine though. When mine arrives if I manage to taste anything I will share my dark wicking secrets.


PS thanks for the cotton plug tip I was thinking about blocking the second hole somehow.

That's normally what happens to me Richard.

The best iv got from it is using a 2.5mm Clapton coil with top of coil level with posts and as far away from posts as I dare without it shorting on the chamber ( close to air hole ) plug the small hole with wet cotton and let your wick just sit on the juice holes, I'm getting very good wicking and loads of vapour but not a lot of flavour.

minime - I've got two of the OBS Nano's

For me as an absolute apprentice coil builder and wicker, they are superb to play around. Very easy to build and wick but I also have been disappointed with the flavour.

Great solid build, lovely looking tank....but far more flavour from a Nautilus at 10w

Richard every time I see people recommend them on FB groups I tell that they are shite for flavour, but they seem to have become the holy grail for rta's.

Right had today messing around with this obs and my verdict is there pathetic on flavour you would be as well just boiling the kettle and breathing the steam from that.

Reviewers I won't take any notice of you ever again in the flavour department.

The OBS engine is one of my favourite RTAs but the nano for me just never performed no matter which coil I installed or how I placed it.
For direct lung though I haven't found any single coil RTAs that perform as well as a dual coil for vapour density and flavour.

My dual coil tanks in use at this time are the OBS engine, the Aromamizer supreme and the TFV8 Big baby

Out and about I have to say that the Ijoy rdta box mini takes some beating.

My daily users are tfv8 big baby and ijoy rdta box mod he the ijoy takes some beating it's the best vape iv had in my 5 years vaping.

I must have watched about half a dozen YouTube reviews of the Nano both US & UK. All but one of them makes quite a big deal of the excellent flavour produced. (One Zophie I think it was did not mention flavour IIRC she is a tad distracting). Not one gave it a negative. Just as consistently all the posters on here have said flavour is rubbish.

Is this just chance? Are the big reviewers talking random rubbish or is something more going on?

I'm always searching for better flavour in my tanks and my DIY I admit that, I to watched lots of reviews on the nano and didn't see anyone saying the flavour was bad but tbh this IS the worst tank iv ever had for flavour.
