I can say, quite safely, the RX2/3 is the worst mod I have ever bought - over-hyped trash.... Last week (after numerous previous problems), it started having a hissy fit and kept continuously changing the ohms reading wildly (the builds/tanks are OK as they read properly on other mods) for example, a 0.50 pre-made coil jumped to 1.86 and then 3.36..... Today, it has started saying "atomiser short" regardless of which tank or RTA I put on it.....they all work fine and read ohms well on my other mods. - Batteries are charged..... - I have cleaned the bit where the tank joins the mod..... - The mod hasn't been drowned in fluoroantimonic acid.....unfortunately.....although this is now a distinct possibility.... Any help/advice, as always, much appreciated

If you either know what you are doing or know someone, it is the positive lead that becomes loose/broken - the whole thing needs stripping down until you can get to that lead and re-solder it back, one of the part owners of the Cafe I go to has done it quite a few times for customers.

Bob - -gotcha What do you think would be my best course of action? Keep using it on and off when it does decide to work and then ditch it when it becomes a real pain? I think it lasted less than 5 months which is annoying

I think it lasted less than 5 months which is annoying would fix it, still think there a good all round mod, and once its looks battered just strip & polish

I got a Wismec RX 80 that does the ohms dance too. Drove me mad. Mucked about with the connector a bit, seemed ok for a day or so then it started doing it again. Apart from that, if it didn't play up it would/could be an awesome little mod. I love everything about it, but that constant jumping makes me hate it, one minutes its a .27 ohm coil, next its .4 ohm. Mines an is/was bin job. Looking at a Tesla nano 60 to replace it. Allready have a Tesla 100w Stealth. Good little unit, may have better joy with the Nano 60.

i had the exact same problem with an RX2/3 only had it for 2 days so i just took it back to the shop and got the Reuleaux dna200 instead and even though its made by the same people with probably the same 510 connector it fires perfectly every time and rta's that were no good on the 2/3 have a consistent resistance, so i think it could possibly be down to the boards they use
