Hi guys, A highly subjective question I'm sure.... I've seen a Geekvape Tsunami dripper going cheap (under a fiver) As a middle of the road, non-technical vaper but getting in to RTA's slowly, would an RDA be a good investment/vastly improve my vaping experience? Any advice much appreciated

Personally...and like most rda vapers think, drippers always give fantastic flavour. Better than rta's. More forgiving as no wicking issues to contend with. And can also put monster builds in them should you want. But they dont NEED monster builds to get the amazing flavour.
Not tried the tsunami so cant comment on that rda.

Had loads of drippers but I still prefer my tanks for convenience and I can't taste much difference. For a quick juice change they're good though or as a way to check DIY juices. I do like the avocados though. Bit like a dripper with a well underneath so the best of both worlds. edit: see what I mean haha

thebishman - Thank you How much faffing, for the average Joe like me, is the constant refilling? Do you just use them at home or do you cart juice around? I've still got my squonky thing on my shelf - one of our chaps has very kindly offered to set me up with it

Hence why i went to the squonker route. They are great for testing juices too remember. A quick wick change and its ready to go again

The Tsunami is a great dripper, easily performs just as well as the £70 Kennedy it was clearly based on and i think improved upon. For example the Kennedy at the time didn't have adjustable airflow the Tsunami does, the Kennedy didn't have a single coil option the Tsunami does, the Kennedy didn't have velocity style posts the Tsunami does. You can also buy a squonk pin for the Tsunami.

I exclusively use a dripper. I don't find the faff of carrying a 30ml bottle around too bad... in fact it is all part of the "habit" now.

The tsunami is a pretty decent direct lung dripper, the tsunami 24 is a tad better. The direct lung dripper that I've been using most lately is the vandy vape Icon, it's a cracking vape but works best with large diameter coils.

If you can get a Tsunami for under a fiver ghostrider1971, buy it, it's well worth the money and you don't need big or fancy coils in there to knock a good tune out of it. I have one and use it often along with a Goon. I only use drippers at home, generally over the weekend with a can or two of Koparberg. Like dalealan, I use tanks exlusively for work, as dripping and driving would be just as big a crime as drinking and driving.

When I was vaping Protanks I thought the Magma was the bees knees. Now I vape Subtank Minis and find them to be far superior.

I only use a dripper for testing liquids. I use a velocity and tbh the tanks available now give as good if not better flavour imo. I couldn't use a dripper as my daily driver as I chain vape and dripping is a pain in the rear for me

Very few tanks can beat the flavour from an RDA. I agree with thebishman comments Sometimes, folks who are used to tanks find them disappointing. I honestly think we get used to the flavour as it comes to us (our tastebuds) and there is a difference. I can accept that difference may not always be perceived as 'better'. I would never vape my ADV tobaccos in a dripper, 'cuz they would be gross with the added bonus flavor. But tobacco for me has always been rather than vaping unflavoured and, well, a little bit tobacco-ish.
