Hello! So all new to this! Quit smoking almost 7 weeks ago and so far so good! I've invested a bit of cash in some kits (also had tried vaping before - long story as to why it didn't work - mostly due to me not understanding how to use them.....) but I have the following devices - so let me know what you think of them, what they are best for, what maybe I'm missing from my kit and your score out of 10 for each! Just for fun. Here's my go! 1) (bought 2015) Kangertech Evod Mega - 4/10 - good flavour, but hate the stainless steel tip and it leaks everywhere and has zero power! 2) Innokin Endura T18E - 5/10 - sturdy, doesn't leak that much, but boy is the draw hard! I don't love it and I'm not sure why because people rave about it. Maybe I'm vaping the wrong juice - thoughts? 3) Aspire PockeX - 9/10 cute as hell, packs a punch, great flavour and cloud - but juice gets in the mouthpiece and you have to charge from bottom and doesn't have adjustable air flow which I believe Joyetech does. 4) Innokin Cool Fire IV TC100 - the mod itself - 9/10 - super easy to use, really self explanatory, cute colour, nice feel 5) Innokin Cool Fire IV tank (the tank the kit came with) 4/10 - dislike! It's so noisy! Good cloud but no vapour, it's like sucking air (am I doing something wrong?) 6)Aspire Nautilus 2 tank - (currently on my cool fire IV mod) - 7/10 - really like this. Cute tank, good mouth to lung, adjustable air flow. Bit messy to top up, juice seems to get all over it, it can be tricky to get the top part off too. 7) SMOK R200 - undecided, I still haven't figured out how to use it, it seems complicated 8) SMOK Cloud Beast King - 8/10 love this! Flavour amazing. I wouldn't take it out and about in public, but it's been good fun at home. I use it at 80 watts and the flavour it gives is divine 9) (bought 2015) Kangertech Subox Nano - 8/10 - great feel, just right in my hand - like that you can get a 0.5 and 1.5 coil. Prefer this as a complete set to the Cool Fire IV TC100 kit but as two seperate mods, I prefer the cool fire 10) Blu e-cig....guess we've all had one, right?? lol And that's all my stuff! Some of it I did get a couple of years ago. Oh we also have the Innokin Endura T22 battery with the T18E tank but it's just a slightly bigger battery. Think I'm doing alright for someone new to vaping and actually I do tend to swap them all about. So currently they are all being used while I figure out my best settings and just mess with them until I figure out the best vape! What do you think? Rate my vapes! What are your store bought vapes?!

That's a hellova selection for 7 weeks in Must admit I've not used any of those mods or tanks (I'm strictly mouth-to-lung and love protank/aerotanks, no sub-ohm shennanagins for me ) Switching them around is a really good idea to find what works best for you, and keep swapping tanks on/off different devices - you'll find some tank/mod combos work better than others, e.g. I've got a GS Air-M tank (1.2 ohm coils) but find it works mtl on an istick mini of all things..... keep playing and use what works for YOU

I made good use of the TPD coming in.....The cool fire IV was £30 with a load of free eliquids, the SMOK tank £16, this all in the run up to last Friday. Shops were selling off the larger tanks really cheap. The aspire pockex was a present from my husband when I did this after seeing the rose gold colour.... My two big spends really were the nautilus 2 which the guy at UK ECIG shop in Wembley really recommended and said I should get, and the R200 which I had to get because I had nothing to vape the SMOK cloud beast on. My husband says I'm not to buy anything vape related now for 2 months and until I prove that I'm going to stick with it and not go back to the cigs. Best behaviour from now on....although I'm really curious about the TV8 because I love the flavour on the cloud beast.... I believe they have one TPD compliant.... eeek (7 weeks to go till I can buy one without fear of being divorced, hehe)

You seem to be where I was after a year so very surprised after 7 weeks. MTL and sub ohm you seem to have tried so many. All subjective - go with what you like and maybe try some drippers or squonkers?

mmm...more than i have in over 3 years you're like me gill2009 , not affected at all by shinyitis I was even dead good in the sales, limiting myself to 2 more sigelei Book Minis (me and Mrs. G-J) and 4 more aerotank megas from HC (the 100W istick and 2x subtank minis don't count as I'm rolling them on to cover the cost of the other bits ) Got enough kit to last for years (or we will when they get here )

Yeah, sorry I did go a bit OTT with it. I was watching all these youtube videos and vaping reviews and I didn't know what to get, everything looked great. I didn't get on so well with the Innokin T18 but it did keep me off the cigs. I worked it out, I was smoking a pack of berkeley menthols a day at £8.00 which is £240 a month, so I thought, after the first 4 weeks not smoking and not loving the T18 and still getting cig cravings - right I'm going to invest that cash in some great vaping gear. It seemed like a good way to keep me motivated and off the cigs, and with TPD coming in and some rock bottom sales, I felt a sort of 'this is my only chance to get some decent sized tanks' panic - but didn't have the understanding of what to get, so I tried to get a range of stuff that wouldn't cost the earth. In total this last 7 weeks, I've spent around £150 on it all including coils because some of the kits with the none compliant tanks were going so cheap. The kangertech I got years ago. I thought it was broken until I realised it was my own user error and I got it working again - so it was a mistake bonus. I only realised that after watching a video on how to set up the cool fire. Duh.. Question (sorry for being thick in advance) - Are the drippers the coils with no tanks - the RDA's? I haven't heard of Siegeli and the aerotanks - will take a look! Not to buy - just to look The aspire PockeX is great, it's like a mini sub-ohm because the coil is a 0.6 ohm

It sounds like you have gone along the same lines as me when I started vaping Take a months cigarette money and spend it on good quality vaping equipment
When I started to vape, mods were only hitting 8w to 12w
The amount of choice on the market now, is bewildering, even to experienced vapers

He only ever vapes tobacco on it, but he takes really good care of it and he swears by it. Are protank/aerotanks a type of tank? That's something I never realised, i thought protank was a brand....

Protank/Aerotanks are models of tanks made by Kangertech. There are a number of different versions/refinements of them.

The protank was kangers crowning glory, it all went down hill for them from there. Must admit though I did love my protank at the time making teeny little coils for it. A whole cotton ball would make a thousand wicks for it, these days I shove a whole cotton ball in my RDAs in 1 go lol.
