RBA recomendations

Sorry folks not been around for a while, been busy moving and stuff! now I need help I'm kind of up-grading and just bought a Smoant Battlestar, my problem now is I need an new RTA that holds around 6ml, is easy to re-build and won't leak, with a max 25mm base, I'm out of touch with all the new stuff, so what can you folk recommend that won't break the bank???

Due to the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations that came into full force for e-cigs on 20th May , it may be a bit harder to find a UK/EU 6ml RTA. (Now limited to a max of 2ml, although I believe that some 2ml tanks are coming with a "spare" larger tank).

Most that vape mouth to lung prefer a tight draw

Direct lung, its a loose draw preferred

Tanks like the dreaded Kayfun V5 clone & authentic ( I say dreaded because I own 5 of them  ) seem to get mixed reactions from both types of vaper

That's two of us. I vape mtl and have a subtank fully open

On my kayfuns, I just open the air valve to the juice in the tank

The SXK Kayfun 5's are only a 5ml capacity, so well out of the requirements here

If will not leak is a high priority then the only totally leak free RTAs I have come across are the OBS Engine range. Simply because they only have a top air inlet. Tank sizes up to about 5ml with the 25mm versions. Some find them lacking in flavour.

Herakles RTA-2 is the best I've ever had and all I use.
They leak but there's an easy fix with an o-ring supplied in the package and a tighten up

You've probably picked the worst person on this forum to ask about coils, but I 'll do my best. The coils supplied with the tank are pretty good for single coil, think they are flapton coils and provide a great vape at about 45w. My usual for a single coil build is 26/32 clapton which works well for me, if a little slow to ramp up, but I can live with that.  At the moment I've got three Exo RTA's with dual 0.5mm kanthal, 9wraps which ohm out around 0.42. Tried the supplied coils in the dual deck but they don't really start to work until 70w plus which just isn't for me. I had a fourth Exo that I sold and replaced it with a Kylin RTA but that is in the sick bay awaiting a new deck arriving from Vandy Vape, so can't really give any info on that one as haven't managed to get it working properly. blakey has a Kylin working well and seems pretty happy with it. Lots of good recommendations been made above, so it's still gonna be a tough decision for you either way. Good luck with whatever you choose.
