Anyone got a contact at Aspire?

I want to identify the manufacturer of the rubber grommets used in Nautilus BVC coils.

A formal request for the information would probably be rejected as they won't want vapers recoiling the coil heads.

I had arranged to get some made in silicone in the UK. Price was 36 pence each but they wanted £4000 to make the production tool

I doubt they would tell you who produces them and even if they did the manufacturer probably wouldn't sell you any there's probably a design patent on them which is owned by Aspire.
Might be worth a shot asking Aspire if they can sell you a box though.

Well if someone is ordering 100,000 units i'm sure the manufacturers are happy to do a backdoor deal the reward being worth the risk of losing a contract kinda thing but i was guessing you aren't after industrial quantities.
Don't see what you've to lose from asking.

You could try Alibaba to find the non-Aspire companies selling Aspire Nautilus BVC coils and then ask them whether they can obtain some grommets for you?

As Get Off My Cloud pointed out if I wanted them in the hundreds of thousands I could get them easily.

Postmodern Smoking the clone bvc coils grommets are not as good as the real thing. I was having 5000 made before finding out the cost of the production tool.

Tomo I've tried quite a few companies and only one was prepared to make them.

I think I ought to make clear that I'm not looking to make a profit from this. Explanation:- I am a retired old fart who has always been a cackhanded practical numpty. I can't even assemble flat pack furniture. Encouraged by several forum members I decided to have a go at mixing & recoiling. This was met with much hilarity by family & friends. To everyone's surprise I did it but soon ran out of new people to mix & coil for. A car boot sale led to about 30 'customers'. As I didn't want or need to make a profit I found ways to get rid of it. Free cases, vape bands, lanyards, drip tips, seals, liquid samples and recoiled heads.

The problem is that as more of 'my vapers' are using recoiled heads I am selling less stock coils. This means I am not getting enough used coils to get the grommets from.

I'm collecting a bundle for you smifee to use for ' parts ' . . . . so you don't feel obliged to recoil them, having already done a lovely batch for me - I'll just send you the grommets when I've got a few more gathered up.

Thanks that's great BUT I never feel obliged to recoil them. I just love doing it. Please send complete coil heads if possible as I'm now finding that some I'm getting back to be recoiled after months of use have damaged threads that screw into the device.

The only bit I don't need is the O ring. I ordered 500 red replacements so I can tell which heads have the NR leg coils.

Shall I just pour them into a plastic bag and deliver them?
I wouldn't mind half a dozen back re-coiled but equally don't want them just to go to waste..

I've been coiling like a man possessed. As fast as I build up a stock one of 'my vapers' returns their stock for replacements.

Did a stocktake and found I have over 100 BVC bodies waiting to be drilled so I don't think I'll run out of replacements soon.

Sooooooo grommets only is good as it will save on postage. Royal Mail want a 'Large' stamp if whole coil bodies are posted.

Okey dokey smifee . . . . .  been waiting to build up a number, but if you can make use of 10 grommets I'll get them disemboweled and in the post to you.
