What will sell?

I have only been Vaping for 2 weeks now, but I have been designing things for many, many years. Having looked through the posts on here I have put my brain into overdrive again (yet another sleepless night). The problem I have is that With all these great (and not so great) ideasis, would there actually be a market for them?

So I thought to myself, let me put some of them out there and see what experianced people in the field think.

Ideas are just that things to be developed and refined, or even scrapped. They might be 'Pie in the sky' things or even me trying to re-invent the wheel. so here they are in their rough and ready form. Tell me what you think, suggestions, or pointers to where the idea has been already developed.

1. A Turkish pipe vape system, for multi users.
2. A travel vape system with green energy rechargable battery, suitable for hiking where no power outlet would be available.
3. Custom design tanks, glass with coulour and or etched designs on them.
4. Different versions of the GGTB etc, Different materials and designs custom made to each purchase.
5. The weekender, A box designed with a huge tank and battery life that with one full charge and a full tank of juice would last the whole weekend even for the avid vapourer.

Those are it for now, but I might post some more as my tiny brain gets into gear.

2. Well there are many Solar Panel backup battery rechargers already out there [Search "solar panel" @ dealextreme fex]

4. Well there's one.. not the model itself but seriosly ONE OF A KIND mod's specificly designed for the buyers need.. (Gepetto makes custom wooden ones, but with random so they are not for order)
5. 2x 18650 PTN04050 booster mod with a 9ml tank (I'm still gluing my mod, but it should last around 2-3days).. And the 9ml tank isn't just fiction...

There is a 9ml tank... It's made using my product line tank caps and some excess tube.. the carto in there is from peleon.pl
SGS horizontal coil which takes 3.5ml to itself +the tank around it

But not to downsize all your ideas...
1.. There is always room for improvement on the tanks direction.. More tanks, more competition, more new ideas, cheaper prices eventually.
2.. Mods, GO CRAZY! Like Shockwave/Knucklehead... 26650 mod that looks insane.. But still neat like Bombshell.

This is a great thread I am a art and design student majoring in resistant materials mainly jewellery and have thought more along the lines of aesthetic design of a mod I would really like to try my hand at this also but not sure about all the techno stuff the innards etc that bit scares me a little

yakousei, I have seen that their are hookah's out there but what is their popularity, is their a demand for them? I was not thinking all solar, cos as we know, the sun can be a rare beast in some areas of the world, I am designing one that will convert mechanical energy to electrical, by some means like a wind up one, so no matter how long you are off the grid, you will always have the ability of having a vape. The tank thing is like most things a matter of prefferance, athetics come into it a lot, and everyone is different. The GGTB thing was about me seeing it and thinking it looks very similar to something I have already made but for a totally different audiance (I make the odd wand for a fairy loving friend of mine to sell at events). And finally the weekender, ok I know that there are some high powered devices out there, I was just looking at what I had laying about, and have got the bits to do something like a 3.7v 6000mah battery pack with charger, a 50ml tank, built in atty and a pop out drip tip.

People could also say, I like .... but I wish it had ...., or I wish that there was a .... on the market. Thant type of thing, It will give other moders ideas that they might not of thought of before too.



I am looking for people to say without commitment that if I built something they would look at it and think about buying it. I dont want to go and create a square wheel.

I like anything shiney girly and last but not least reliable I love your idea of a wind up mod as this would be great for my camping trips where I have to leave the car running to charge bats and waste petrol

Put it this way Bat the stuff that sells is the stuff that you find useful and for a reason - Wind up e-cig sounds like a great plan but will you have to wind for 22 hours to get a couple of pulls etc in the e-cig world it will be loved by some and discarded by many unless it's simple and does what it says on the tin - Some people want less faff some want a little and some are happy with a lot so will people buy what you sell ? well i say make something for yourself show and tell and you will find out as people will ask you when they are for sale and how much etc

The hookahs do sell but are not a massive sales point so i would say make them grand and sparsely
As stated there are a few solar mods out there but sure try and make a wind up or kinetic
Some people are making items for the GG series already - But i say why steal their idea why not go for your own range that looks nothing like the gg range but has the same shiney appeal
Again as stated the weekender is pretty much already taken care of but - there's nothing to stop people imroving on what is already out there - Making it smalle lighter or more durable
