Morning all, Next weekend I'm heading to the Philippines for a bit to catch up with Mrs (to be...) Ghostrider. Have been thinking about kit to take. So far.... 1) Pico squeeze x 2 and 3 spare bottles 2) Nautilus 5ml + pack of triton coils + pico 3) Puff cotton and SS wire 4) Jig, cutters, screwdriver, scissors 5) Few premade coils 6) Home brew juice (5 x 100?) 7) 6 x 18650's Have I missed anything obvious? I understand there are a couple of vape places about an hour from where I'm staying but not sure I would want to rely on them..... Bearing in mind I am the kind of person that tried to squonk through a solid pin....any travel advice taking vape kit would be much appreciated

Check with the airline on liquid rules If there will be any problems with your liquid, bung some in the post as a back up

If the mods will have their battery inside them, and all loose batteries MUST go in carry on bag - loose batteries MUST be either in those plastic boxes or have the contacts taped over with insulation tape

Ummmm - a couple of idle thoughts:
* Check with your airline's web site and establish their rules about what you can carry and where. There are clear and strong rules about e-cigs, fluids, batteries and "sharps" and if you can carry then with you in your "carry-on" or if you must check them into the hold.
* Zip lock plastic bags are your friend. Grab a couple of different size packets. Take the packets with you. Super handy to hold juice bottles (double bag 'em!), or messy bits. If ya atty tends to leak on board, bag it before you take off.
* I found a range of different sized smallish "snap lock lid" plastic containers at the local supermarket. I've found these VERY handy to stash all those little bits and bobs (wire, cotton, tweezers etc) or even a few spare fresh atties.
* I tend to not want to deal with a lot of atty maintenance when away - so I often resort to taking a few spare clean, wicked and ready to go atties and, when the old one starts going off I "bag it" and then start with a fresh atty.
I take more than I think I'll need - just in case.
AND don't forget to enjoy your trip!

Thanks guys, much appreciated thebishman - I think they do have some very nice stuff out there, but more in the big city locations. I think I might be restricted to the general stores...with a bit of vaping stuff at the back

HaroldTheBarrel - I'm heading off to Davao City A little bit worried because of the martial law in Mindinao at the moment Don't worry if you get arrested and thrown in jail. All the AAEC community is here and we will contact the local MP, the government, go to the papers and start an online petition expressing our complete and utter outrage and demand the immediate release of your vape gear!

HaroldTheBarrel - I'm heading off to Davao City A little bit worried because of the martial law in Mindinao at the moment It is a worry. We go to Bohol, which is adjacent to Mindanao, and the latest place in Ph to benefit from the attentions of our headbanging Islamic friends. I'm sure it'll be fine though. Most places are still pretty safe outside of the areas where the problems are. Edit: So Mrs Barrel (She's from that neck of the woods ) assures me that "they" ( Mindanao residents presumably ) wanted martial law and that everything is peachy over there. So that's alright then.

HaroldTheBarrel - I just had a bit of a shock on the old travel insurance.... Because of the martial law, Mindinao is now on the FCO essential travel only list, ergo my travel insurance is now invalid. 99.99% of companies won't give medical cover for FCO restricted countries.... Finally managed, after a lot of calls, to get cover with BUPA....but it's GBP 200 for 46 days rather than GBP 30 for a "normal" travel policy.....
