Well I've finished replacing my regulars recoiled coil heads with NR/R/NR coils so it's open house.
For every 2 GENUINE Nautilus BVCs you send me I will send you 1 coil head with a horizontal NR/R/NR coil.
Note:- these are not assembled by a robot in a factory but by a clumsy arthritic old fool in his garage. The ohms will vary. Typically from 1.2 to 1.5. You should get months of use from them but some may fail early. The most common failure is one of the welded legs coming off and the display then reads 0 ohms.
Tips:- before rewicking look down at the coil to see if it's central. If it's over to one side then insert the wick from that side to centralise it as you pull the wick through. Be gentle with rewicking as the more you pull the coil about the more chance it will fail.
3 family members have been testing the NR/R/NR recoils for 3 months. Most of the coils are still in use. 1 flooder caused by my not checking the grommet before assembly. It had a burn line from having been preciously used with an all kanthal coil. 3 'legs fell off' but 2 of those were from when I was using silver crimps for the joins. 30ish% of the NR/R/NR coils fail during assembly when I twist & poke them to get rid of hot spots so only the stronger welds make it through.
PM me if interested.

Old fool scores another own goal. The 30% failure rate during assembly is no more. The Zapper needed a new battery.
