So I'm looking for a better base unit to vape off. So I figure that I'm looking at either a Lava Tube or a Provari v2 I know the Pro is the expensive option I also know that this is a pretty contentious subject. I'm looking for something to use as an everyday piece of kit and trying to do the get once piece of kit and that's it. I've watched utube read stuff all over and I'm just plain confused now! So what do people think ? What bits should it get to go with them ? What's the difference (apart from size) between the minis and the regulars? Or something else ? (pls send links) Do both of these work on a push button method eg. Press button and hold vape release button? Will both pieces of kit fit these Clearomisers ? www.vapeescape.co.uk/new%2Dvision%2Dego%2Dv2%2Drainbow%2Dlong%2Dwick%7E362Cheers

Allan you're right, you will read and get masses of advice, some of it conflicting. I've opted for the LT as my introduction to VV vaping. I have ordered a mini as I think the size is more to my liking. The only difference, apart from the physical size, is that minis take smaller batteries which therefore don't last as long between charges.

Yes both work on the push button method, and on both you will be able to use the new vision's, although an adapter may be required depending on model of LT. I went in between those two, am awaiting delivery of one of these, www.apolloecigs.co.uk/product-p/atube.htm Linky no work properly, click on the stainless steel picture, totally different to any other colour. These are a one off as origionally Apollo were told yes you can have ss, but it turned out they were chrome, they then told them to go back and make ss one's which they were promised, so they have and I should have it mid may

Is the TW Torpedo the same?, been trying to decide which is better value as TW have the Torpedo at 47.99 and it has two batteries.

The provari is expensive and built to last and be repaired, the LT is cheap and built cheaply, the chances are the Provari will outlast the LT. But they will both give the same vaping experience. I've got a LT and one for spare, since mine broke one night and I realised I was in a deep pit of trouble at that moment. I don't want to be there again thankyou. The batteries and charger are the same for both if you get the extension tube for the provari to fit 18650 batteries. If you are worried about bling, the Provari wins hands down. Whether in time I will change to a Provari, I really don't know, but the world of vaping is changing so quickly, I wouldn't be surprised if a much cheaper, but almost as well built Provari type tube mod, is out on the market by the end of the year.

i own both and would say that the lavatube doesnt get used at all but that doesnt mean its a bad device. i prefer the draw and size/feel in the hand of the provari ....is it worth the extra pennies i would say if you have them then yes but if you are trying to justify the extra price then no. the mid sized lavatube looks like a good option click hereto live on top either i would take a look at a carto tank, ego vision, vivi nova or a rebuildable atty like a genesis line

Door number 3 I love my provari to bits but have found that my love is being shared with the kicked GGTS as or late so my door number 3 option would be a chrome bolt with an extension tube and a kick module one advantage with this is once you dial in your preferred vaping experience then the module will automatically adjust itself to give you the same experience no matter what you attach to the device with the extension tube (or two) you can use regular 18500. 18650 or a kick with 18350, 18500 or 18650
