I bought this bundle of kayfun's on here a little while ago and not entirely sure why, perhaps feeling nostalgic or perhaps a little too much scotch.
Anyway I won't be using them as have plenty of other RTAs which I adore so am offering them up for free.
Perfect for MTL fans or those who just want to dib their toes in the waters of building your own coils.
Please make a numbered list and I will select a winner two weeks from now on the 28th, as that's when I get paid so can afford to post them
Good luck AAEC
If I forget about this feel free to give me a nudge!

Forgive my ignorance, but how do they compare to protank/aerotanks for MTL?

Spent the last almost 5 years avoiding building coils (did do a few for a bit, just to prove the point that I could IF I could be ar*ed ) but s'pose I ought to attempt to take it seriously, if i really have to 1. TJ could you say how they compare to kangers?? Once upon a time Kayfun clones were the best thing to hit the vape market. Tighter draw than a subtank with much better flavour. Easy to coil and wick, a pleasure to use. Low power with a slightly higher Ohms build and they are great,. Sadly times and habits changed, now its a billion watts and Ohms less than nothing. Still use a Kayfun lite clone on a night out, less vapour, much more stealthy.

GunJack Errr I am ashamed to say that I haven't actually tried any of those types in that bundle I do have a Kayfun Mini V3 though and the draw can be tighter than the Subtank for sure, very easy to coil and wick and I would say they definitely compare well to the Protanks as it's the first RTA that I bought and tried and used alongside the Protanks

Forgive my ignorance, but how do they compare to protank/aerotanks for MTL? I started out on Protanks (well, after Evods - which used the same coil and had essentially the same vape). Stock Protanks (V1 &2) were pretty darned tight on the draw. Somewhere around the Boge Carto draw. Sorta makes sense, since they both draw their air thro the 510 connector - three itty bitty holes (I think 1 mm or smaller) between the 510 screw thread and the tank's base. The Kayfun & Lite and Light Plus (depending on who made the clone) had various intake hole sizes on the side of the base: from about 1.2 up to about 1.8 mm dia - so they varied a bit. But the center vertical pole under the coil that all air had to go thro has a center hole sized about 1.7 or so mm. You could mess with it's draw by drilling out the side intake hole thro the base (what was talked about in another thread), but the draw is essentially controlled by that center pole. BUT simple answer - the Kayfun's draw is somewhat looser than the Protank. But no where near as loose or free as any modern "subtank" though. The amount of vapor is dependent on your build and power - BUT even the simplest lowly small coil build in a Kayfun still puts out more vapor and hits harder than the stock Evod/Protank coils. It was hard to put much more than about 8 to 10 watts thro a stock protank head whilst, with near any build, a Kayfun can easily double that power handling capacity. And, crudely, more power = more vapor = more hit. However, no early kayfun will have a draw or hit like any modern "subtank". Least that's my opinion. How do the early Kayfuns compare to Protanks? Simple answer: the Kayfun was, for me, a fantastic upgrade from the protank. Still have a bunch in regular rotation. But, as I touched on elsewhere, many early Kayfuns had trouble wicking VG heavy juice.

thanks TJ and DaveJ I only use pro/aerotanks with afc bases anyway, so used to an airier draw than standard protank....sounds promising ...and I only do 80% PG juice so no thick-juice-wicking-issues for me

I've never tried those AFC bases, so I am unsure just how much they opened the draw up on the Protanks. I do know many loved them. In anycase - if, by chance, these Kayfuns are too tight for you, it may be possible to "open them up" a little as was talked about over here: linky
