ROOT my TAB2

I would like to 'ROOT' my....

Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 GT-P5110

Android Version 4.2.2

.... & run a custom ROM to remove all bloatware.

Only must have is USB tethering.

Can anyone point me to somewhere that i can safely get everything i need?

A idiot's guide would also be useful as this will be my first time.

Figured out what i need to do but there are too many dead links on that forum & need to find a reliable/safe source to download everything i need.

i havent rooted anything in a long time and i did it with xda (was to run that six axis thing and defo not worth the near hart attack)
odin is one of the prog i used to do flashy things and is defo worth a google for guides

I had a Galaxy Tab2 GT-P5110.

Unless you are enjoying it (and making use of it) you may as well try anything to improve it.

It was the worst tablet I ever owned, from suspicious load times to pathetic battery life and yes... bloated to the hilt.

I sincerely wish you luck. I quit messing around with it about a year ago. Maybe you can save it?

This thing has sat in a drawer for the last year, just want to give it a chance before i splash out on something new.

Any recommendations for a good replacement in case it goes belly up? Only want something for browsing/mobile tethering, everything else is done on my trusty desktop.
