Looking at purchasing a high performing Mod but just don't like the look of the Smok Alien but I've come across the Ijoy Captain and there's no denying that this is hands down much better looking (subjectively of course) and looks like a dream in the performance category, however, I was wondering if anyone had or has any experience with this mod and can tell me if it's a winner or a looser before I go ahead and purchase This will be my last mod for a while so I need it to be a good one and one that'll last cheers in advance

Are you considering one because of the 20700 sized battery capacity?

Yes and the performance (I've read a few good reviews) and because it looks so goddamn good I considered the alien but don't really like the look of them (I'm very shallow I know !)

I purchased a Captain 20700 a couple of weeks ago, and not only is it a solid battery it looks and feels great as well Going off my first couple of weeks, I'd certainly recommend it. FOUR days between charges for me by the way.

I have 2 of these both perform great and long battery life, they came with batteries and a sleeve to put 18650's in. the only downside is like most mods with the big screen is the face of the mod its not pocket friendly it'll scratch easily if you are not careful. that said i have one scratched slighlty and lesson learnt my other is still clean from scratches. bloody good mod

Had a play with the Captain at a B&M shop - Vapour Trails on Fratton Road in Pompey - and it seemed really nice - but went for a Pico Dual (from FT) for the Powerbank option instead. Needed a back up and the Powerbank option is perfect - even if 24+ tanks might overhang - the TFV8 baby with RBA shouldn't

I've seen the 18650 version for £39.99 here and thought about taking a punt on it, but i've just pre-ordered a Smok product and can't really justify another purchase so soon! They do look good though and certainly not as expensive as other mods it seems. I've never used anything with a 20700 battery, do they genuinely offer better performance?

These 20700 batteries, are they compatible with any of my chargers (Xtar VP4, Efest Luc V4 and Nitecore Digicharger D2) or will I have to buy another one?

They should fit in the Xtar VP4 and Efest Luc V4. List of 20700 Chargers: https://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comments/6c94pg/chargers_that_fit_20700_batteries/ Xtar VP4 Review (supports 70mm): lygte-info.dk/review/Review%20Charger%20Xtar%20VP4%20UK.htmlEfest Luc v4 Review (supports 69mm): lygte-info.dk/review/Review%20Charger%20Efest%20LUC%20V4%20Charger%202017%20UK.htmlIt might a tight squeeze in the Efest Luc v4. Just a word of caution about the 20700 batteries IJOY is supplying with their devices. The performance may not be the same as those sold separately. Mooch is still to test them: www.fogstar.co.uk/blogs/bens-corner/ijoy-statement-whats-happening-with-the-20700
