I've been away for over two years now smoking my head off !!
Now I want to try again, haven't really got any vape kit I have a old Aspire pen type thing collecting dust somewhere!!!

Any advice very gratefully received.

sorry chap but you have fallen for the promo rubbish
if you want to stop smoking you need something that can give you 18 mg hit similar to a ciggy
90% of anything with subohm do not do this what they supposed to do is give big clouds and flavour, oh and use a heck of a lot of juice

from same place as you linked but never delt with them
will work with the kit you linked if you like the batt/mod bit just run the tank between 7 and 12 watts and it should last yonks(imperial measurement of time lol)
if your not in a rush fast tech and gear best are good,cheap web sights but the in china and its a min 10 ish day wait dep on shipping type

I'm very unfamiliar with current "starter" gear so hopefully someone will be along soon with some good advice for you. However, I do hear many talk highly of the current crop of "All In One" devices and don't forget the the Aspire Nautilus as a tank, an old standby still highly regarded by many.

Welcome back moblee and at least you've decided to give it another go, good on you. Whilst appreciating what DaveJ has said regarding "all in one" devices, I'm yet to be convinced by some of them. I'd probably opt for a decent device and agree with DaveJ on a Nautilus for on top to start, although there are others. GunJack might just be the man to advise on mouth to lung tanks. Here's what I'd recommend and it won't break the bank if you can wait on delivery from China. Good luck this time round.

ey up moblee seeing as striker42 tagged me.... mouth-to-lung tanks - I still only mtl, don't do sub-ohm, and use kanger (and clones thereof) protank-2, protank-3, aerotank, aerotank mega. All give good vape, coil heads readily available, and pretty cheap....

I have 4MTL tanks for sale. Triton mini which uses the same coil as the Nautilus mini. 3Rtas which are rebuildables but really easy to build when you decide to do that.

All yours for £40 so £10 for a tank

flippin'eck, ddn't realise how scarce some of these things are getting without paying OOT...glad I stocked up when I did...anyhoo, best bet for cost/performance would appear to be these:-

I know I need more of a Hit than clouds of vape, if that makes sense.

The advice being given is exactly for you, mouth to lung vaping as opposed to the cloud type direct to lung, and the tanks being suggested are MTL style so should be right up your street, hope that helps explain it a little more.

makes perfect sense....just like me, in fact What you really need to steer away from are sub-ohm coils, stick around 1.5 to 1.8 ohms in the sort of tanks I linked to (I have several of them) and higher-PG juice and you'll do alright
