Can anyone recommend a decent battery charger that will take a 20700 battery without squashing it in ?

No, not upto date, but if you got a 20700 cradle you could make a converter with 60 mm bit of wood with a brass screw in each end to fit in an 18650 charger bay and run a wire from each screw to the 20700 cradle connections.

If you can't get a 20700 cradle you could solder a couple of disk magnets to the ends of the wire, but would need to be careful EG just cable tie them to a pencil so they couldn't touch each other.

ETA IIRC he regularly fixes gillybeabs mods, so nah bother.

Might make one using this Don't know how safe it would be, but I'm sure VapingBad will let me know if I'm being a nob.

I Have posted about them here somewhere TP4056 cheap on ebay

Thanks Bob. I've had a rummage round the net and there is conflicting information on it. Might just knock up a DIY number to get me bye at the moment.
