Just watched the Todd review, could be tempted but no all black option and 60dolla maybe not.

Pretty nifty  tho splitting in 2 to change the battery out.

Same here, thats for heads up! But it doesnt look appealing aesthetically to me so ill prob give it a miss.

Like the concept, the design reminds me of Yin and Yang. Might be interested in a stainless steel/walnut version (at the same price point)

Not sure if the fire button is a good thing or not but I won't be jumping to buy one, also the gap and protrusion is off putting.

The box itself no better made than the Boxer, Frankenskull, and Phantohm, all of which are well under $20, (maybe worse!) and the Boxer even comes with a locking fire button.  The firing mechanism looks a little more solid than the cheapies, but that's about it.

Maybe they think people will pay the extra just because there's a designers name attached to it?  (Not that I've ever heard the name!)

I thought so too when I first got mine, but then I tried a couple of different bottles in it, bent back the firing connector, and now it works OK.  Getting the door off when the bottle is full is a pain though, not the most thought through design on the planet.  I can handle this for $14, but not when they start charging premium prices....

Agree fully on the price aspect. Might have a go at the Phantom eventually. Just bought another Icarus so will make the necessary adjustments to that first.

I am hoping that S-Rabbit Style 18650 Squonk Box Mod at a tiny $11.38 price tag will be the answer to all our cheapo squonking needs, striker42. But no doubt there will be some issues with that, too!

Ordered one from 2FDeals about 8 days ago and it's still awaiting dispatch.... cant help it but I get like this at the prospect of a new cheopo squonker, then I get like this when I get it and discover the flaws....
