Nitecore i2 - is it safe?

amygx do you have another charger to use whilst this is being dealt with? Are you in a position to replace it in the meantime?
You cannot use that unit that you have, even briefly. If you can't replace it then let me know and I will get you a replacement.

It's okay ill just charge via my mod using usb while I wait for a reply from NDB. If I don't hear from them tomorrow ill do a pp dispute.

It's okay ill just charge via my mod using usb while I wait for a reply from NDB. If I don't hear from them tomorrow ill do a pp dispute.

Wow sounds like that seller is more than a little dodgy! Hope you get this resolved soon, glad you won't be using the charger in the meantime!

Well the plot thickens. Sent them a message and figured I'd give them the opportunity to rectify the problem and they said a replacement was on the way, the replacement arrived yesterday and went to pick it up this morning due to missing the delivery. The replacement was actually an i4 and I thought all my problems were solved. How wrong I was...

Immediately upon opening the box another fake unfused plug fell out so I thought this can't be right and proceeded to check the authentication code on the website but I never got to the website because as soon as I scratched it off I realised I've seen this code before. The code on the i4 box is IDENTICAL to the code on my i2. So now I have 2 fake chargers and I'm extremely p*ssed off!

If anyone has the following code on their charger then its fake: 8642 4584 7001 2871

Trading standards methinks. This proves the company that said they checked the chargers before sending them out lied................AGAIN.

I've been following this thread, and also to chat on Facebook regarding this particular company.
As striker42 says, you now have the definite proof for Trading Standards to do something concrete. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate in contacting them and if necessary, directing them to this forum and thread for further proof if it was needed.
What irresponsibility! This vendor (if he can indeed be called that) should be hauled over the coals and the book thrown at him. To risk property and lives just to make a quick buck, and then having the gall to again send out fake goods whilst supposedly replacing faulty goods is nothing short of immoral.
I'll watch this from the sidelines, but I hope that you get justice and, more importantly, your money back in full.
