My vaping news :)

Evening each,

Just thought I'd share these - bit random...of course

1) My Voopoo Drag arrived - absolutely love it - for 30 odd quid it's solid and chunky with a great feel and excellent battery life - highly recommended

2) Had a bit of fortuity with a double on the gee gee's last week - have a VT Inbox thingy squonker and a Druga on its way from our friends in the East

3) If you haven't had the opportunity of trying Guango from Chef's - please, please give it a go - on a Nautilus at 12w or a Clieto at 50w it is an amazingly flavourful vape - loving the WS-23

4) Went back to my OBS Nano's for a change - still can't get decent flavour out of them

5) Trying a few new BCL's - Carnival is a weird one - supposed to be marzipan but tastes a bit like burnt plastic to me. Have got high hopes for Black Devil - but it just tastes far too much like the interchangeable Captain Jack and Old Captain (I swear they are the same thing....) at the moment....need to wait a couple more weeks for my Sterlingo and Space Shark but they are smelling rather good.

Can I ask what coils are you making/using with the OBS Nano? & what mod?

Richard46 - I'm using SS316L - going for about 5/6 wraps - coming out around 0.4ohms - mods I'm going between an Eleaf ipower and a DNA Lavabox.

Any recommendations for coils would be MUCH appreciated

Sadly I cannot be much help then. I too am using 6 wraps of 316 (3.5mm coil jig) on a 75 DNA at around the same resistance as you. Flavour is as good as anything else I have used but maybe my taste buds are none too sensitive.

Richard46 - I find the Nano incredibly airy even with the air hole on minimal and I also find I get a dry hit/burnt taste very quickly - maybe just wasn't one for me

I've had the Space Shark from Bcl and I really enjoyed it so I don't think you'll be disappointed with that one ghostrider1971

Some nice vaping equipment there ghostrider1971. At least you have the benefit of choice, if the obs nano's are not hitting the mark then you can move on to something that is. It's good to try new/different set ups but it's a great feeling being able to lift something you know will just work for you. Me, I've given up on regulated mods, off and galloping with this thing called squonking and it's all thebishman's fault. Presently cursing, hair pulling and throwing things about trying to get an Icarus squonker workable

Hey i cant be blamed can i?? And besides...you wont be the only one to fall for squonking. Everyone will....they just dont realise it yet

Not forgotten about our trade striker. Just havent had time to sort it yet.

If you are using pre built coils adjust the wattage from low to high to get the right amount of vapour and taste. Remember to allow juice to re-saturate the coil. The higher the VG the more patient you may need to be.

If you are struggling with flavour in a rebuildable adjust coil height relative to air hole and increase/decrease wattage accordingly.
