BCL - Space Shark and Black Devil

Afternoon all,

A rainy afternoon in half term, so I thought I would crack open a couple of my BCL mixes....hmmmmmm

Both were mixed on 6 October - 65 VG, 4mg nicotine and 10% concentrate.

Both tested on a Cleito at 0.2ohm and between 45 and 51w

To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed with both of them at the moment.

Black Devil is just a generic clone of Captain Jack, Uncle Jack and something else with Jack in the title - almost a gooey, honey and very sweet taste. But exactly the same as the aforementioned two versions.

Space Shark is very smooth and creamy. But just a smooth cream and nothing else at the moment. I don't get any tobacco or other flavour at all....

They will both be heading back to the dark space for another couple of weeks but not overly impressed thus far.....

oh dear I really liked the space shark but as we always say taste is subjective.I had the old holburn and brownstone from there and it wasn't really for me.I hear that the chewbaccy from nom nomz is really nice so will be ordering some of that in the near future. Yaliq is another one on my radar and at $10 per 100ml I reckon some of them are worth a shot.

I must admit, I've kept away from the weirder-named offerings from BCL! My reasoning being that I taste an underlying 'baccy base (or 2!...'Sultan' is good, ditto 'Holborg'...& differ from each other!..) with varying flavours added.
But....I've been here before so I'll stfu!!!!

Went back to the Black Devil after being in steep for over a month.

I must say I am now pretty impressed - still definite hints of Captain Jack but a very nice deep and dark fruit taste too.

Definitely growing on me.....

Just tried the Space Shark again - been on steep 6 October as per above - thought with the cream, 2 months should do it...time to try again.

To be honest, for all the positive concentrate reviews I have been able to do recently, this just doesn't seem to be one for me. Still just mild cream and now an after taste of almost like a burnt plastic - still not getting an tobacco either. For me, it's just a bit wishy washy....

Kind of thinking "why did I waste a new Cleito coil on this"? - Oh well, it happens.....

Use a dripper for testing then you will not waste premade coils
