Bluefish - I'm a real amateur - any tips would be much appreciated Me too! Tips? As unqualified as I am the only tip I could offer is practice. Take lots of pics. With modern digital stuff, once you have the camera (or camera in a phone), it doesn't cost anything to "snap one off" - so take lots. Pretty pics too!

Sometimes the whole view works , sometimes you need to zoom in , your last pic is neither and to me is a bit meh, i would suggest that either out or in more would be better. When you go in more, you can see the light coming through the leaves, showing the veins etc.
