Confused about the 1.8% bottles on sale now.

I havent mixed for some years, just seen a great review of a concentrate so ordered it without even thinking but can now see i can't just buy 7.2% anymore doh :-D
So if i buy a load of dark stars 100% vg nic at 1.8% nic is it easy to transfer it to a unicorn bottle at 12mg? I dont have a laptop any more so have no calculator.

If I understand you correctly... 1 ltr @ 18mg = 1.5 ltrs @ 12mg.
IE for every ltr of 18mg add 500ml of VG.

A 10ml bottle of 1.8% mixed with 5ml of VG results in 15ml of 1.2%.

As said above, for each 10ml bottle of 1.8% (18mg/ml) nic you will need to add 5ml of dilutent* to make 15ml @1.2% (12mg/ml) nic e-liquid.
*(The dilutent will be comprised of PG and/or VG and flavour concentrates).

Do you know what percent flavour that is recommended for the concentrates that you got nottmlad ?...

If 10% flavour concentrate, then 1.5ml of the 5ml diluent will be flavour concentrate (the other 3.5ml will be PG/VG)
If 15% flavour concentrate, then 2.25ml of the 5ml diluent will be flavour concentrate (the other 2.75ml will be PG/VG)
If 20% flavour concentrate, then 3ml of the 5ml diluent will be flavour concentrate (the other 2ml will be PG/VG)


[ETA] Also what size of Unicorn bottle do you wish to fill?

Im sorry I'm not clear I'm not used to this stuff anymore.
The mix will be 20%
The bottles from dark star are only 10ml and do 100vg or 70/30 vg/pg
I dont mind vg heavy, prefer it to 50/50 stuff.
Was looking at 30ml bottles of unicorn shape.

Am i right in thinking the concentrate at 20% plus 80% will make 1.5% juice?
Also hazzarding a guess that the final mix will be 80/20 vg/pg if thats the case?

For 20% flavour, and max VG:



i.e. 2X10ml nicshot (18mg/ml VG) + 4ml of plain VG + 6ml of flavour = 30ml of 12mg/ml (1.2%) nic e-liquid 20PG/80VG

2X 18mg/ml (1.8%) nicshots + 20% flavour (i.e. 5ml) would give you 14.4mg/ml (1.44%)nic @20pg/80VG
