Mixing by weight

Hi all

I am planning to mix by weight what is your thoughts about it   
Sorry if it has been asked many time 

Can you recommend me any good scale I was looking at these

My question is:
- is it accurate enough to mix juice. E.g. All brands of PG (Darkstar, Driphacks etc.) are the same weight?  and what about the flavours their same volumes are the same weight as well
   
I've found this info 
PG = 1.038 grams per ml

VG = 1.26 grams per ml

72mg PG nicotine = 1.036 grams per ml

72mg VG nicotine = 1.242 grams per ml

Any digi scales are good enough aslong as it goes to 2 decimal points if making a complicated recipe.

Mixing by weight is so much easier and can knock up a ton of juice in no time. No mess either!

Yep that is my whole point I just hate to wash the syringes
I do not make any complicated recipes mainly one-shots or FA tobacco flavours

I tend to mix up my nic base by wiehgt, just because I don't have accurate gear for measuring large volumes.
I'm pretty sure that VG with 15% distilled water is a lot closer to 1.0 density than pure 'dry' VG.
So I assume 1g = 1ml for everything and don't worry too much.
For flavours, I will measure out with a syringe the right amount for the volume I'm making and then top up the bottle with my nic base.

Not the most accurate but loads less faff.

If you want to work out the weights for your ingredients the simplest way is to weigh an empty syringe then weigh it filled with 1ml of the ingredient you want to find the weight of.
Take away the weight of the empty syringe from the one with 1ml of the ingredient in it and voila you have the weight of that ingredient per ml.

In all honesty a scale that weighs down to 2 decimal places isn't really necessary, when you're weighing liquids down to that accuracy you're literally talking like a drop or two either way registering a difference on the scale it's not something you're going to notice in the final product, a scale that measures in 0.1g is good enough unless you're making really small sample quantities.

Yes. 

The slightly awkward thing is Aqueous VG (i.e. VG with about 10-15% water added), as the water content isn't always specified on the bottle. Also nicotine in VG often has also had water added to enable proper mixing, which also affects it's density/specific gravity..... if you want to be precise (which for personal mixing isn't always necessary).

Near enough for my purposes, iirc when I first started mixing by weight I worked on an average 1.25g to the ml, nowadays I'm happy to go along with the calculator that works in grams. fwiw you can set your desired quantity in ml
