Question about The Sopranos

Afternoon guys

Highly random question for a vape form.......but

I bought the box set of The Sopranos years ago. Watched the first series last week - thought it was absolutely excellent. Have got 4 episodes in to the 2nd series and thinking it is now distinctly "meh"....

Any views on this one? Stick with it or move on?

Been a while since i watched it i did enjoy the series though, Pauly Walnuts cracks me up the only thing that irked me was how they closed the series out.

I went to Computer Exchange this afternoon and picked up the first two series of Boardwalk Empire for 3 quid.

Watched the first two episodes - absolutely excellent

Boardwalk Empire is good but it has some episodes which where a little lackluster, I think this happens with a lot of series sometimes a idea looks good on paper but does not always translate, could be the direction, or just certain actors or characters seeming a little out of character.

joeten - Agreed - absolutely.

Overall I absolutely loved Breaking Bad, for example, but that had a few strange and slow episodes too.

I've watched the first 3 series of Homeland over the last couple of weeks too - pretty impressed with is so far....

I thoroughly enjoyed the sopranos so stick with it mate you won’t regret it.

Yeah stick with it. I've just done all 5 series of House of Cards, guess S6 may not be worth watching?

No not seen that, found it 4 episodes.

The Sopranos is excellent stick with it. It's gets better and better

Yep, stick with it. Season 2 did have a slow patch
